Gameshastra announced not too long ago that they are about to release these minis around July or August, as we all know, it didn’t happen. One of the three minis from Gameshastra’s promised lineup just got an ESRB rating, and it’s Flick Fishing Sports. It’s an iPhone blockbuster app, selling over two million copies. Flick Fishing Sports’ game description tells that it’s a “Fully animated ‘living’ environments combine with intuitive real-life controls to create the best fishing game available!”, we’ll keep you posted for further developments.

Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G is the latest game in the Monster Hunter franchise for PlayStation Portable. It is an expansion to the original Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (Monster Hunter Portable 2nd in Japan) and is currently slated for a release on March 27, 2008 in Japan. As of now, there is no official word on neither a US nor European release date - though an English version is expected to come out in both of these regions, seeing as how popular the franchise is on the console.

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter lets players explore huge non-linear locations as they attempt to track down a variety of dinosaurs that are armed with some ferociously advanced AI. As a result, these are no "pea-brained" dinosaurs -- these are dangerous creatures that are able to see, hear and sense the hunter. If you're not careful, it's very easy for the hunter to become the hunted. With a series of different dinosaurs across varied, distinct environments (including pine forests, muddy marshes and rolling hills,) how you approach your target is important. Wind direction, scent and the use of a special dinosaur call are all key elements in tracking your prey.

Each location in Cabela's Legendary Adventures is a visually stunning open outdoor environment that encourages exploration and tactical variation. Shooting mechanics have been developed to reflect modern as well as historical hunting technology, so players relive the hunts complete with detail from specific time periods. Under Cabela's guidance, the firearms, tactics and gear in Cabela's Legendary Adventures are as true to real life as a game will allow.
